Latinx Leadership Summit 2020

After 17 years of growing a network of highly skilled and trained leadership alumni, the next step is to reconvene the field to gain a better understanding of the shifting dynamics of Latino arts at the community level.

NALAC will convene a 3-day National Latinx Leadership Summit in 2020

To strengthen networks for Alumni of the Leadership Institute Program explicitly, yet not exclusively; the Leadership Summit will provide an opportunity to learn from the field while further sharpening and deepening their skills. The Leadership Summit will strengthen a Latino and inter-cultural artistic sector with a new generation of artists and arts leaders to bridge collaborations and alliances across ethnic, geographic, and intergenerational lines.

Connecting representatives of our alumni networks strengthens our collective knowledge(s)

The intention is to strengthen and amplify networks, build relationships and increase visibility by contributing to the national ecosystem of arts and culture. Once launched, the Leadership Summit will bring together alumni and constituents to cultivate powerful bridges with peers, access necessary resources to effectively strategize, mobilize and advocate for policies that foster the advancement of the national Latino arts community and cultural equity.
