Ariana Brown is a queer Black Mexican American poet, performer, and workshop facilitator from the Southside of San Antonio, TX. She holds a B.A. in African Diaspora Studies and Mexican American Studies from UT Austin and an M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Pittsburgh. Ariana is the recipient of two Academy of American Poets Prizes and a 2014 national collegiate poetry slam champion. She has performed at over 125 venues across the U.S. including Harvard University and the San Francisco Opera Theatre. Her work is published in PBS, Remezcla, Nepantla, and Muzzle.
