Fátima Ramirez became Curatorial Arts Manager for Acción Latina in February 2019, having previously sat on the Curatorial Advisory Council for the Juan R. Fuentes Gallery. She studied journalism and Latin American Studies at the University of San Francisco and earned a master’s in Family and Community Education in Museums from Columbia University. Her passion for community storytelling has led her to work in: public programming at the Museum of the City of New York; exhibition development at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan; visitor experience at SFMoMA; and most recently development and event planning at Hispanics in Philanthropy.
